Now for the torso. Take some clay and form a torso. You can make any shape body . Remember this will also add to your Faery's personality.

The tummy next. Form a round ball then slightly flatten it. Attach to the Sprite by smoothing all of the edges.

We now move o the bottom area. The tush.

OOooo...the Faerie's are doing a happy dance. They're almost done! Note the shape of your Faery from all sides. Correct any unwanted lumps or bumps.

Add a small amount of clay to form a neck. Now bake the figure for about 10 minutes again according to directions of the maufacturer. This baking only sets the clay so it will be easier to work with. To protect the head from scorching you can wrap it loosely with tissue or quilt batting. Allow to cool completely before proceeding.
